A bit about us:
We are a food and beverage manufacturer looking for a experienced account manager to join our team. You'll oversee a territory within the North / South Carolina region, and be responsible for managing and expanding our presence at all major convenience stores, grocery stores, schools, etc that may carry our CPG products.
We're looking for someone with prior CPG sales experience with great sales and communication skills. You'll have the chance to work 50% from home, 50% visiting client sites in your area.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key accounts.
- Overseeing the sales process from start to finish, including identifying potential sales opportunities, developing these into pipelines, negotiating and closing deals.
- Developing a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Communicating clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Forecasting and tracking key account metrics.
- Identifying and growing opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
- Assisting with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
- Effectively liaising with the marketing team to create effective strategies for each account.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in account management.
- Proven track record in CPG sales and retail CPG sales.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity.
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time and project management skills. You're always looking to improve inefficient processes.
- Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Efficient at Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, Salesforce or related software
