Are you ready to take your accounting career to the next level? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Accountant to join our team. This is not your typical accounting role; it involves a high level of interaction with various departments and offers a great opportunity to make a significant impact on our business. You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and ensuring legal compliance. Responsibilities

As a Permanent Accountant, your key responsibilities will include

• Review, reconcile, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources using advanced Excel functions.
• Audit daily load activity, working closely with operations to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Research and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with clients and field operations.
• Support new client onboarding, aligning client needs with our system capabilities.
• Accurately bill customers according to their unique specifications.
• Generate and distribute monthly statements for contract carriers.
• Validate rate calculations based on multiple data fields and contracts.
• Analyze and process driver payroll involving complex pay structures and differential calculations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Accountant position should possess the following qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent progressive experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Word, Outlook, and accounting software.
