We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated individual to join our team as an Audit Senior. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a leading financial institution, providing you with a platform to enhance your career in finance and audit. As an Audit Senior, you will play a critical role in providing assurance services, conducting financial statement audits, and ensuring the financial integrity of our organization. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

As an Audit Senior, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to

• Leading and executing financial statement audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
• Applying your knowledge of assurance services to identify potential issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Assisting in the planning and management of audit engagements, ensuring they are conducted efficiently and effectively.
• Reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Providing recommendations to improve financial processes and systems based on audit findings.
• Preparing and presenting audit reports to senior management, highlighting key issues and providing actionable insights.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and developments in the field of financial auditing.
• Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements.
  
  

Job Details

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Audit Senior position should have the following qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree and CPA are preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in audit within a CPA firm.
• Strong industry knowledge of private companies that include Closely Held Business, Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing & Distribution, Professional Services, Real Estate. Strong knowledge of EPB/401K audits also preferred.
