Job Details
Our Engineering firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing various projects and ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be working on a variety of projects, including land development, commercial site development, and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop project schedules and timelines, and ensure that all deadlines are met.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction work is being carried out in accordance with specifications and plans.
- Work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that all aspects of the project are coordinated and integrated.
- Use Civil3D and AutoCAD software to design and plan construction projects.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize construction costs and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure that all construction work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
- Excellent project management and scheduling skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of land development and commercial site development processes.
