We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager Lead to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing our commercial lines accounts and providing top-tier customer service. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial accounts, including property and casualty policies. Your role will also involve handling renewals, endorsements, and all aspects of account management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to leverage their insurance experience to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, including property and casualty policies.
2. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
3. Handle all aspects of account management, including renewals, endorsements, and customer service.
4. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
5. Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
6. Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
7. Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
8. Prepare reports on account status and present to the management team.
9. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Proven work experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role in the insurance industry.
2. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
3. Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
4. Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
5. Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
6. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.
9. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, endorsements, policy analysis, account management, renewals, and customer service.
10. Professional insurance designations such as CIC, CRM, or ARM are highly desirable.
11. Having an active Property and Casualty license is a huge plus.
12. In-depth understanding of the insurance market and current trends is a must.
