Are you a seasoned Construction Superintendent with a knack for managing complex projects? Do you have a proven track record in the commercial, healthcare, and medical construction fields? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects. This is a permanent position that offers an opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, including commercial buildings, retail, restaurants. healthcare facilities, and medical clinics.
Responsibilities:
As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion. You will be in charge of coordinating and managing contractors, making sure that work is carried out in accordance with the project plans, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget, and maintaining a safe and clean job site.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
2. Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
3. Managing the project schedule and ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
4. Conducting regular site inspections to ensure that the work is being carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
5. Resolving any issues or problems that arise during the construction process.
6. Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
7. Preparing and submitting regular progress reports.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on commercial, healthcare, and medical construction projects.
2. Proven experience managing complex construction projects from start to finish.
3. A thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
4. Strong leadership and project management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
7. A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean job site.
8. The ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
