We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Permanent Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a background in medical-surgical nursing (MedSurg RN), patient care, and electronic medical records (EPIC EMR). This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide top-notch patient care in a fast-paced, high-tech medical environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Registered Nurse, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Providing high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
2. Conducting regular patient check-ups, monitoring vital signs, and administering medication as prescribed by the physician.
3. Utilizing the EPIC EMR system for documentation, data entry, and maintaining up-to-date patient records.
4. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and sharing critical information about patients' conditions and treatment plans.
5. Educating patients and their families about their conditions and teaching them how to manage their health and recovery.
6. Adhering to all hospital policies, nursing standards, and legal regulations to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
7. Participating in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest nursing practices and advancements in medical technology.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you should possess the following:
A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a MedSurg RN or Acute setting.
Exceptional patient care skills and experience in managing patients with various health conditions.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make sound clinical decisions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
