We are seeking a dynamic and experienced 3D CAD Design Engineer to join our team
Our company specializes in the production of commercial furniture catering to the hospitality sector, including fast-food chains, quick-service restaurants, and fine-dining establishments.
As a 3D CAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating manufacturing drawings for our engineering department to code CNC operations and guide fabricators to successful completion.
Responsibilities:
1. Produce detailed 3D CAD drawings of furniture elements using Autodesk Inventor/Fusion or SolidWorks.
2. Create manufacturing drawings to guide CNC operations and aid fabricators.
3. Design and construct 3D solid models of furniture elements using CAD software.
4. Conduct design analysis and prototyping to ensure the feasibility and functionality of designs.
5. Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing team to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
6. Utilize design software like AutoCAD for various projects.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or engineering technology field such as Architectural, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience.
3. Proficient in 3D CAD drawing – Autodesk Inventor/Fusion or SolidWorks preferred.
4. Knowledge of multi-axis CAM operations is a plus
