We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned mechanic with expertise in diesel engine systems, fuel systems, suspensions, drivetrains, and mechanical maintenance. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, and conducting repairs on a wide variety of diesel engines. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all types of diesel engines to ensure that all equipment is in safe and efficient operating condition.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in diesel engines, fuel systems, suspensions, drivetrains, and other components.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems, determine the most effective solutions, and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Collaborate with other team members to solve complex problems and improve maintenance procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior mechanics and other team members as necessary.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in diesel engine technology and maintenance practices.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, suspensions, drivetrains, and other related components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and repair mechanical problems.
• Current ACE certification or equivalent.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
• High level of physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent. A degree from a vocational school or a certification in automotive or diesel mechanics would be a plus.
