We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to join our growing team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our company's growth and success. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 3 sales professionals, driving sales growth, and maximizing revenue in the Commercial Roofing Construction and Insurance Restoration sectors. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in sales leadership, commercial restoration, and a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals and drive sales growth in the Commercial Roofing Construction and Insurance Restoration sectors.
- Provide sales leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of 3 sales professionals.
- Lead the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and maintain key client relationships and negotiate and close deals.
- Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist dealers in promoting sales.
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develop sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the company.
- Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales.
- Direct product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
- Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote the product.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, specifically in the Commercial Roofing Construction and Insurance Restoration sectors.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of 3 sales professionals.
- Strong sales leadership skills and a proven track record of success in driving sales growth and maximizing revenue.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze sales statistics and formulate sales strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
