Job Details

Our manufacturing company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controls Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems that ensure the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing processes. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about controls engineering and has a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain control systems for manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for control systems
• Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in controls engineering
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
• Manage projects from conception to completion
• Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of controls engineering principles and practices
• Experience with instrumentation and control systems
• Experience with PLC programming and HMI development
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
