What You'll Do
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of employment issues, including but not limited to employment contracts, employee rights, workplace policies, and termination procedures.
- Represent clients in employment litigation cases, including preparing for and attending court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Negotiate and draft employment contracts, ensuring that they are legally sound and protect the interests of our clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in employment law and advise clients accordingly.
- Work closely with other members of the legal team to develop strategies for managing employment litigation cases and contract negotiations.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on employment law to help them understand their rights and obligations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professional discretion at all times.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on employment litigation and contract negotiation.
- Membership in good standing with the state bar.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing employment litigation cases and negotiating contracts.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
