We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment, where you will be tasked with handling a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, child support, and domestic violence. We are a well-established law firm with a reputation for excellence in family and matrimonial law. Our firm values integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to providing our clients with the best possible representation.
Responsibilities:
As a Family Law Attorney, you will be expected to handle a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1. Representing clients in court and negotiating settlements.
2. Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
3. Conducting legal research and gathering evidence.
4. Advising clients on their legal rights and options.
5. Mediating disputes and advocating for clients in court.
6. Collaborating with colleagues and working as part of a team to provide comprehensive legal services.
7. Staying updated on changes in family and matrimonial law.
8. Managing multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
9. Providing compassionate and empathetic service to clients during challenging times.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in family law, with a focus on matrimonial law.
4. Excellent litigation skills, with experience in presenting cases in court.
5. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex disputes.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong research and analytical skills.
8. The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
9. A high level of professionalism and excellent client service skills.
10. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
