Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Highway Engineer to join our dynamic team in the finance industry. The successful candidate will have a strong transportation, DOT, and highway design background. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and offers the chance to work on exciting, high-profile projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven success in highway design projects, including sub-consultant management and multitasking on multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in industry design software such as MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads.
• Technical expertise in geometric design, stormwater management, and drainage design using current standards.
• Familiarity with complex highway and structural/bridge design is advantageous.
• Understanding of permitting requirements and erosion control standards in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
• Exposure to Stormwater Management design and permitting processes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to QA/QC processes.
• Bachelor's degree (MSCE a plus) in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation.
• 7 to 12 years of progressive experience as a Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager in transportation design.
• Possession of Pennsylvania and/or Maryland Professional Engineering License, or ability to obtain within six months.
• Experience with Pennsylvania and/or Maryland agencies, as well as design/build projects, is desired.
