Job Details
We are seeking an Intellectual Property Associate Attorney with a strong chemistry background to join our renowned IP Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on IP issues
- Draft and file chemistry-related patent applications
- Assist with intellectual property litigation, including Hatch-Waxman cases
- Advise clients on patents, trademarks, and copyrights
- Collaborate on patenting strategies with development teams
- Prepare for hearings and trials
- Juris Doctor and license in good standing in the resident state
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IP law
- Strong technical background in chemistry; graduate-level training preferred
- Experience with Hatch-Waxman litigation is a plus
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
