Job Details
Shift: 2nd - Monday - Friday 4pm - 2:30am
The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant equipment. Perform PM’s, and complete work orders.
Minimum Required Qualifications
*Three years of mechanic experience
*A high school diploma or equivalent
*Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications
*Experience in the food/beverage industry a plus
*Previous experience in Manufacturing or production environment a plus
*Ability to direct, coach and train others.
Responsibilities
*Maintain and service mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
*Perform skilled repair services of mechanical, electrical and building systems and equipment
*Conduct periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair
*Identify parts needed for replacement and places orders as necessary
*Supervise the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repairing of switches, cables and other equipment to ensure optimum usage and quality
*Ensure compliance to company requirements
*Schedule and coordinate installation support and service operations
*Complete all work in accordance with established safety procedures
*Accountable for food safety, food quality and regulatory requirements for their position
*Encouraged to notify management about actual or potential food safety issues
*Adopt and maintain all SQF requirements for their position
*Empowerment to work with supervision to resolve food safety and food quality issues within their scope of work
*Performs other related duties as required and assigned
