Job Details

Our manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position will require the candidate to have extensive knowledge and experience in maintenance of machinery, mechanical, electrical, relays, switches, motors, PLC, voltage, and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are operating efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities Include:

• Take care of plant, machinery, and repair in all production departments.
• Perform reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment on SACMA cold forming machines, INGRAMATIC thread rolling machines, COSMEC inspection machines, GENERAL INSPECTION machines, AICHELIN furnaces, and DURA-PACK packing machines.
• Identify necessary parts and materials per specifications. Perform periodic testing of equipment.
• Diagnose and communicate root causes of electrical malfunctions and develop corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices using proper tools, procedures and documentation.
• Understand and troubleshoot machine network infrastructure and PLC systems.
• Work with medium and low voltage (480-24 Volts) equipment, power distribution systems, instrumentation systems, and equipment controls.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years minimum Experience in Maintenance position preferred.
• **We are currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shifts so please only apply if you are looking for a permanent 2nd or 3rd shift position**
• Experience in ISO-TS certification and its requirements to Maintenance Department
• Understanding computer applications and good attitude to learn the company software to manage Maintenance Activities
• Knowledge of cold heading and related machinery, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, Mig, and cutting torches
• Must be able to read electrical, hydraulic lube schematics, operate maintenance machinery such as Bridgeport, surface grinder, lathe and drill press.
• Must be able to operate forklift, have both Electrical skills and PLCs knowledge.
• Some experience with Siemens S7 PLC systems preferred
• Some experience with SCADA communication systems and ABB/SEW inverters preferred.
