We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician for a Contract to Hire (C2H) position in Lavonia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of our production machinery and systems.
This role will involve working with a broad range of technologies including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFD (Variable Frequency Drives), ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) industrial systems and FANUC robotics.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technician looking to expand their skills and experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and systems.2. Troubleshoot and repair issues with PLC, VFD, ABB, and FANUC systems.
3. Work closely with the production team to understand and improve machinery efficiency.4. Implement changes and improvements to machinery and systems based on feedback from the production team.
5. Maintain accurate and timely records of maintenance activities.6. Comply with all safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.8. Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
Qualifications :
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.2. Proven experience with PLC, VFD, ABB, and FANUC systems.3. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
6. Good communication and teamwork skills.7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.8. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
