Job Details

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the industrial automation industry. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing various projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Generate designs for machinery using computer-aided design software (SolidWorks), starting from initial concepts and progressing to final designs.
• Perform calculations to determine appropriate sizes for components such as motors, gearboxes, and sensors.
• Design mechanical parts and components.
• Conduct and document analyses of loads and stresses, employing a range of techniques from basic calculations to finite element analysis (FEA).
• Prepare detailed drawings for fabrication and assembly purposes.
• Submit drawings to higher-level management for evaluation and approval.
• Revise designs as needed, incorporating feedback from team members and clients.
• Release approved drawings to the procurement department.
• Provide assistance during the construction and installation processes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and proper assembly of the machine.

Qualifications for the Role of Mechanical Designer:

• Possess over 10 years of relevant experience.
• Display strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Possess extensive knowledge of computer-aided design software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Demonstrate proficiency in stress analysis techniques.
• Possess strong computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective team player.
• Display self-motivation and initiative.
