We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement medically prescribed physical therapy treatments for patients.
- Customize treatment plans based on individual patient needs and conditions.
- Consult with physicians and other healthcare departments to discuss the impact of physical therapy factors on patient health status.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Record findings, treatments, and other relevant patient information in the medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed and organized patient documentation.
- Bill patients in accordance with established procedures and ensure accurate and timely submission of billing information.
- Educate patients and their families on appropriate care, therapeutic exercises, and the use of various therapies.
- Provide guidance on home exercise programs to promote continued progress.
- Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Follow established protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Valid and current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to assess patient needs, develop effective treatment plans, and adapt interventions as necessary.
