Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Controller to join our dynamic team in the Finance/Accounting industry. As a Permanent Plant Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our manufacturing plant. You will work closely with the plant management team to ensure that financial goals are met and that the plant is operating efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations of the manufacturing plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Work closely with the plant management team to ensure that financial goals are met and that the plant is operating efficiently
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to the plant management team to help drive decision-making
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Manage the plant's inventory and cost accounting processes
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure that the plant's financial needs are met
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the plant's financial performance and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 years of experience as a Plant Controller or in a similar role
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus
