This unique role will require a mix of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a drive for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a background in paper manufacturing, pulp and paper science, and machine operations. A track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives is a must. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
As a Permanent Production Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the paper manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
2. Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve product quality.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
4. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
5. Monitor and manage machine operations, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
6. Develop and implement strategies for waste reduction and process efficiency.
7. Train, mentor, and manage team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
8. Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts for the production department.
9. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions when necessary.
10. Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in paper manufacturing and production management.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Pulp and Paper Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the paper manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in machine operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
6. Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
7. Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
10. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
