Responsibilities:
As a Contract Project Accountant, you will be at the forefront of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing all aspects of construction draws, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
2. Handling AIA billing and familiar with AIA G702 document, ensuring all billings are accurate and in compliance with contractual terms.
3. Overseeing the invoicing process, including the preparation, review, and submission of invoices.
4. Managing accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payment of all vendor invoices.
5. Conducting account reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
6. Preparing financial reports, providing key stakeholders with clear and accurate financial information.
7. Collaborating with project managers, providing financial insight and advice to aid in decision-making.
8. Identifying and resolving any financial discrepancies, ensuring all financial data is accurate.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry.
2. Proven experience with construction draws, AIA billing, AIA G702, invoicing, accounts payable, and account reconciliation.
3. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
