Are you a dynamic, motivated professional with a passion for engineering? We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our national roadway engineering team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your skills in civil engineering, project management, transportation, and state regulations, all while working within a set budget. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting in-depth project analysis, design, and management in a variety of challenging and stimulating environments. Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and oversee all technical activities relating to engineering projects, from conceptual design through to completion and handover.

2. Develop and implement project schedules and budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within allocated resources.

3. Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure all project requirements are met.

4. Apply your knowledge of state regulations to ensure all projects are compliant with relevant laws and standards.

5. Conduct site inspections and audits to evaluate the performance of projects and implement necessary improvements.

6. Prepare detailed engineering plans, designs, and drawings, using both manual and computer-aided design (CAD) methods.

7. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

8. Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks, ensuring the smooth and successful completion of all projects.

9. Collaborate with the project management team to develop innovative solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

2. Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.

3. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Engineering industry.

4. Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, transportation systems, and state regulations.

5. Proven experience in project management, including budgeting and resource allocation.

6. Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering applications.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.

8. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on providing practical and innovative solutions.

9. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

10. High level of attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
