We are seeking an individual who is passionate about the manufacturing industry and is well-versed in the principles of Kaizen and continuous improvement. This is a permanent position that offers the chance to work with CNC, precision manufacturing, CMM, GD&T, and geometric dimensioning. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, interpreting blueprints, and driving improvements throughout our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will be both challenging and rewarding. You will:
1. Oversee and manage the quality engineering department, ensuring that all processes are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
2. Implement and promote continuous improvement and Kaizen principles throughout the organization, encouraging a culture of excellence and innovation.
3. Lead the development and implementation of quality control procedures and systems, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of precision and reliability.
4. Utilize your expertise in CNC, precision manufacturing, and CMM to enhance our manufacturing processes and product quality.
5. Interpret and analyze blueprints, ensuring that all products are manufactured to exact specifications.
6. Train and mentor staff in quality control and continuous improvement techniques, fostering a team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals.
7. Work closely with other departments to identify and resolve quality issues, driving improvements in product and process quality.
8. Monitor and report on quality metrics, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Quality Engineering Manager position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Demonstrated experience with Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies.
3. Proficient knowledge of CNC, precision manufacturing, CMM, GD&T, and geometric dimensioning.
4. Ability to interpret and analyze blueprints with a high level of accuracy.
5. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
8. A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
