We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Permanent R&D Manager - Powders to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, research and development, and powder manufacturing. This role will be responsible for leading the research and development of powder products, driving innovation, and ensuring high-quality standards are upheld. The successful candidate should have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective R&D strategies, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the research and development of powder products, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency standards are met.
2. Drive innovation in powder manufacturing processes, continually seeking out new methods and technologies to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective R&D strategies.
4. Oversee the testing and analysis of new and existing powder products, ensuring they meet all necessary quality and safety standards.
5. Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, advancements, and competitor offerings to ensure our products remain at the forefront of the market.
6. Develop and manage the R&D budget, ensuring resources are used effectively and efficiently.
7. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the R&D team, encouraging creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.
8. Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, with a specific focus on powder products.
3. Strong understanding of powder manufacturing processes and technologies.
4. Proven experience in developing and implementing effective R&D strategies.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
9. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
10. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
