Responsibilities:
1. Providing comprehensive nursing care ensuring a high standard of practice and clinical competency.
2. Administering prescribed medications to patients in in-patient or outpatient settings, monitoring for side effects and reactions.
3. Administer fluids, medications, blood products, and other treatments as required.
4. Educating patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment options, and the necessary steps for disease prevention and health promotion.
5. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
6. Documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and observations in the electronic health record system.
7. Responding to emergencies, providing immediate care, and coordinating with doctors and other healthcare professionals for advanced interventions.
8. Participating in continuous learning and professional development activities to keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the nursing field.
Qualifications:
1. A valid Registered Nurse license.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
5. Excellent patient education skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
8. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
9. BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
