Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality patient care in healthcare settings.
2. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients based on their individual needs and medical conditions.
3. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians or healthcare providers.
4. Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
6. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
7. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
8. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques during patient care.
Qualifications:
1. Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
2. Experience as a Registered Nurse in long-term care, nursing home, or home health settings.
3. Proficient in performing nursing assessments, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions.
4. Strong clinical skills and knowledge in providing comprehensive patient care across various healthcare settings.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
6. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
7. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and proficient in computer skills.
8. Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
9. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Note: Equivalent experience and skillset will be considered for candidates who do not possess all the listed qualifications.
