Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for agriculture, a knack for sales, and a love for the great outdoors? We are on the hunt for a driven and enthusiastic Agricultural Sales Account Manager. This is a permanent position that will allow you to combine your passion for farming with your talent in sales. This role will involve selling a range of agricultural products including pork, beef, dairy, and corn. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing accounts, generating new business, and exceeding sales quotas. This role requires frequent travel and offers the opportunity to work both in-person and over the phone with a diverse range of clients.

Responsibilities:

As an Agricultural Sales Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and managing a portfolio of accounts, focusing on both the growth of existing clients and the acquisition of new clients.
2. Meeting and exceeding sales quotas across a range of agricultural products, including pork, beef, dairy, and corn.
3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with farmers, agricultural businesses, and other key stakeholders.
4. Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of our products and services, and effectively communicating their value to clients.
5. Negotiating contracts and sales agreements, ensuring the best possible terms for both the company and the client.
6. Travel frequently to meet with clients, attend industry events, and stay informed about the latest developments in the agricultural sector.
7. Working closely with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies, track sales data, and maintain a comprehensive understanding of market trends.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Agricultural Sales Account Manager position will have:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
2. Extensive knowledge of and experience in the agricultural sector, particularly in relation to pork, beef, dairy, and corn farming.
3. Strong account management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients.
4. Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven ability to secure favorable terms in sales agreements and contracts.
5. Experience in both phone sales and in-person sales, with excellent communication skills in both contexts.
6. The ability to travel frequently and work effectively in a variety of settings.
7. A passion for agriculture and a commitment to promoting the value of our products and services to our clients.
