A bit about us:

Rapidly Growing Company is looking to expand their sales team in the West Region! They are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a background in glazing or commercial glass products. This is a remote position but MUST reside in California and MUST be available for travel to different states within territory.

Territory will cover following states: WA, OR, CA (primary); ID, MT, WY, AK, HI (secondary)

We are currently seeking an energetic, driven, and experienced Permanent Sales Manager for our West Region operations in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our business-to-business sales, interpreting technical plans, blueprints, and drawings, and leveraging their Glazing industry experience to drive sales growth in the region. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the Manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
2. Manage the sales team for sales growth and revenue enhancement.
3. Conduct market research to understand competitors and market trends.
4. Provide innovative ideas and suggestions to improve the market presence.
5. Maintain relationship with all potential and existing clients.
6. Ensure timely delivery of products and services to clients.
7. Review and manage staff performance regularly.
8. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
9. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
10. Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
11. Utilize knowledge of the Glazing industry to develop relevant and competitive sales strategies.
12. Interpret and understand technical plans, blueprints, and drawings to effectively sell our products and services.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field, preferred
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of the Glazing industry and its current events.
4. Proven experience in business-to-business sales and meeting sales quotas.
5. Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
6. Proficient in interpreting technical plans, blueprints, and drawings.
7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
8. Customer-oriented with strong negotiation skills.
9. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly competitive environment.
12. Ability to travel as needed.
