This role is integral to our business success, as you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing and leading a team of sales professionals, and driving business growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the concrete and aggregate industry. Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
2. Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve set sales targets.
3. Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive business growth.
4. Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.
5. Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
6. Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and the competitive landscape.
7. Ensure all sales activities are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
8. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and set performance goals accordingly.
9. Review and analyze sales performance against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness.
10. Develop and nurture a customer-focused approach to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management within the building & construction materials industry.
2. Proven experience in the concrete and aggregate industry, with a focus on RMX concrete, aggregates, paving, and civil contracting.
3. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a high-performing sales team.
4. Excellent negotiation, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone.
6. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
7. Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in the manufacturing industry.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
11. A self-starter who can spot new opportunities and drive revenue.
12. Able to travel as needed.
