In the role of an Architect, your primary responsibilities will include converting business requirements into technical solutions and resolving challenges through the effective application of information technology. You'll work closely with IT leaders, engineering teams, and stakeholders across the organization, ensuring that application architecture solutions are conceived with a long-term perspective and are in compliance with platform requirements. In addition to providing leadership, you will also contribute to various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including scrum meetings and the delivery of sprint team outcomes. Leadership:
Assist in the evolution of engineering practices, patterns, and frameworks throughout the portfolio.
Engage in design and architectural assessments, offering direction to engineers on sound design practices aligned with the architectural vision.
Stay updated on industry changes related to patterns, tools, and trends that directly impact the team's current and future work.
Collaborate with business partners to manage expectations and ensure that solutions evolve to meet customer needs.
Participate in the recruitment process and defining the ideal characteristics for engineers.
Designing Solutions:
Develop solutions that resonate with business requirements and relevant technology strategies.
Collaborate with business partners and technical leaders to identify needs and design solutions targeting specific outcomes.
Demonstrate consistency and reliability in delivering solutions aligned with key outcomes and participate in product planning and implementation.
Continuous Learning:
Understand the evolving needs of our clients.
Stay connected with the advancements of solutions, patterns, and frameworks within and outside our company.
DevSecOps:
Implement the principles of DevSecOps to the defined solutions, ensuring stable systems that can evolve iteratively and independently.
Encourage and enhance the use of the CI/CD pipeline to improve the deployment and build process.
Skills & Qualifications:
Mandatory:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
Extensive experience in enterprise-level, full life cycle Architecture in the professional IT/Software Development services industry.
Hands-on experience with technical application architecture, as well as application build/modernization.
Successful track record in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, managing various stakeholder relationships.
Exceptional communication abilities.
Strong organizational and leadership acumen.
Familiarity with one or more common modeling tools and languages (such as UML, C4, ArchiMate, TOGAF, 4 1 View Model).
Experience with AWS Cloud Architecture and Implementation.
Prior experience with cloud migrations.
Familiarity with private, public, and hybrid cloud models (including IaaS, PaaS).
Desirable:
Ability to coach and mentor other team members.
Expertise in cloud-native architectures and infrastructure-as-code.
Understanding of event-driven and streaming architectures and domain-driven design.
Experience with NoSQL database platforms.
