Responsibilities
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the preparation and maintenance of our financial records. Key responsibilities include
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and related reports to communicate financial information to the management.
- Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring that all entries are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
- Provide audit assistance by preparing necessary schedules and reports, and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Prepare and post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue.
- Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
