We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team. You will play a critical role in our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data and contributing to our financial strategy. Responsibilities:
As our Permanent Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for:
1. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
2. Managing journal entries, invoices etc. and reconciling accounts for the monthly or annual closing.
3. Supporting the preparation of budgets or forecasts.
4. Participating in preparation for the annual audit.
5. Helping in the development of reports for management or regulatory bodies.
6. Reviewing the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances.
7. Utilizing accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records.
8. Assisting in the improvement of internal controls and processes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Staff Accountant role will have:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 1 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar but we are open to recent graduates with internship experience
3. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with relevant accounting software (e.g. SAP).
4. A solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
5. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
6. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
7. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
8. A CPA or CMA certification is preferred but not required.
