Job Details
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of project managers and assistant project managers through all phases of large-scale electrical construction projects, ensuring maximum profitability and client satisfaction.
Oversee construction operations, planning, design, prefabrication, and budgeting tasks with efficiency and timeliness.
Enforce and enhance safety policies in collaboration with our Safety Department, maintaining a high level of safety excellence.
Develop and nurture client relationships through exemplary performance, communication, and productivity, identifying opportunities for repeat business.
Participate in project turnover meetings, setting project standards and strategic plans with estimating and prefabrication teams.
Ensure project schedules are met and client expectations are exceeded consistently.
Collaborate with Division VP and Operations Manager to establish weekly project manpower and long-term projections.
Manage BIM coordination with the Coordination Department and oversee procurement processes.
Establish and monitor project cost-coded budgets derived from original estimates.
Work with GF and field staff to optimize project efficiencies, workflow, and schedule adherence.
Complete project closeout processes, identifying lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Qualifications/Requirements:
12-15 years of proven electrical project management experience.
Demonstrated experience as an electrical construction manager with deep understanding of project management principles, procedures, and materials.
Familiarity with health and safety standards.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills.
Leadership abilities with a collaborative team-player approach.
