We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in the food production industry. This is a permanent, full-time role, where you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frozen food handling, warehouse management, and a proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred. We need a passionate individual who can drive operational excellence and optimize our warehouse processes.
Shift 6am-3:30pm Mon-Fri
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
2. Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures.
3. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
4. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages team performance.
5. Ensure the quality of goods and materials in the warehouse, with particular attention to the handling and storage of frozen food products.
6. Control and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy with physical counts and system records.
7. Coordinate logistics and manage relationships with transportation providers.
8. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs as necessary.
9. Communicate and collaborate with other team members, managers, and clients to ensure operational goals are met.
10. Address any issues or complaints related to the warehouse promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in managing and working with a small team (4 personnel)
3. Proficiency in warehouse management systems and databases.
4. Strong knowledge and experience in frozen food handling and storage.
5. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
6. Strong communication skills with proficiency in Spanish preferred.
7. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
8. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
9. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
