As the Assistant Nurse Manager in the GI Lab, you will work under the guidance of the Associate Director to coordinate the daily operations and provide high-quality, individualized patient care. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to the delivery of exceptional nursing care.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating the daily operations of the assigned unit/area to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in alignment with the Medical Center's philosophy.
Applying your expert nursing knowledge and utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care.
Supervising and guiding the clinical performance of the nursing staff.
Driving effective change within the Nursing department and the institution as a whole.
Educational Requirements:
Preferred: Master's Degree in healthcare, nursing, or healthcare administration profession.
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Licenses:
California State RN License (upon hire).
Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (upon hire).
Relevant Specialty Certification (upon hire).
Experience:
Minimum of five years of experience in an acute care setting, including at least two years of specialty and supervisory experience.
Physical Demands:
Lifting, standing, and walking.
