Join our team as a Store Associate and play a vital role in ensuring our store is organized and our customers have a great shopping experience. You'll work alongside our ALDI team, providing exceptional customer service and keeping the store clean and stocked with products.

Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week 
Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases, neatly stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Assist customers with their shopping experience, providing exceptional service
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues that arise
• Take part in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stock merchandise and place products on shelves of various heights
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Safely operate equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers
• Perform general cleaning duties
• Interpret and follow company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Stay organized, pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and multitask
• Meet any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
• Equivalent knowledge obtained through a combination of education and experience
