Quad, a global marketing experience company, is looking to hire an Industrial Electrician at our manufacturing plant in Waukee, IA. Job Title: Industrial Electrician Responsibilities: - Service and troubleshoot production and support equipment within our plants - Perform preventive and predictive maintenance - Provide electrical project support - Utilize electrical ladder diagrams, electronic circuitry diagrams, and software programs to modify, repair, or improve equipment functionality - Use various tools such as hand tools, power tools, electrical/electronic test equipment, and calibration equipment - Work closely with engineers, technicians, and peers to maintain electronic/electrical systems on new and specialized equipment - Adhere to the National Electrical Code and ensure compliance with customer and code requirements Qualifications: - Ability to maintain, service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic circuitry and related components associated with production and facility equipment - Basic knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC drive systems, and computer-operated control circuitry - Self-motivated with good communication skills and ability to work well with others - Proficiency in repairing a wide variety of equipment - State Electrical license or a minimum of 5 years of electrical/electronic repair experience in a manufacturing environment preferred - Must be able to work 12-hour shifts including days, weekends, and holidays with some overtime required Additional Qualifications: - Proficiency in using a personal computer and ordering parts and materials - Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and ability to execute cost-effective methods to fulfill customer and code requirements Benefits: - Excellent benefits package including 401(k), holidays, vacations, and more.
