You will provide exceptional service that sets Wegmans apart, ensuring our customers receive the medical attention, care, and health services they depend on. What will you do?
Build trusted relationships with customers and process prescription requests with patience, empathy, care, and compassion
Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and resolve issues for the best possible outcome
Follow department processes and procedures to input information, dispense medication, and verify accuracy
Assist with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department, including inventory management and stocking supplies
Handle products properly, operate equipment, maintain accurate logs, and follow sanitation practices
Required Qualifications:
Basic computer skills
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations for data entry and prescription filling without errors
State-specific requirements may include Pharmacy Technician certification
New Jersey applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in ordering products and managing inventory
Prior Pharmacy Technician experience
Pharmacy Technician Certification
Note to applicants: In some states, certification and/or state registration is required to work as a Pharmacy Technician. In these areas, Wegmans may hire individuals before they obtain the necessary qualifications, while providing support during the process. Board Certified Pharmacy Technicians at participating locations will earn a $0.50/hour shift differential.
