Job Expectations:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail facility and handle employee matters effectively.
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach employees, and administer appropriate discipline when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal wage and hourly requirements.
- Prioritize and delegate work to ensure efficient scheduling and coverage of all station operations.
- Manage inventory, cash, and expenses in compliance with company standards.
- Handle customer relations and find solutions to any issues that arise.
- Use computer programs to support store operations and complete administrative tasks.
People Management:
- Identify hiring needs and create a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Provide onboarding and training for new employees.
- Clearly communicate performance expectations and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Develop staff through additional responsibilities and assignments.
Job Specifications:
- Previous managerial experience in a retail, food service, or fuel environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and work well both independently and in a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High School graduate or equivalent, and at least 21 years of age.
Physical demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on different surfaces.
- Capability to lift weights up to 10 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
- Comfortable working in high temperature environments and diverse weather conditions.
- Occasional exposure to coolers at 34F.
