FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Systems Manager in Jacksonville, FL to consult with management to analyze information technology needs and determine scope, objectives, and priorities of technical projects, technical systems capacity, budgeting requirements and IT acquisitions. Drive translation of product strategy and business owner expectations into long-range systems projects with priority recommendations. Provide development recommendations to business owners based on experience with client expectations and issues. Notify business owners of potential technical and operational constraints, including performance implications. Assign and monitor work of team providing technical and analytical support and direction. Interface with external clients and field-based employees on technical matters as needed. Develop, implement and monitor information technology standards, practices, procedures and controls to maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility and ensure data integrity, security and legal and regulatory compliance. Coordinate delivery of services to user groups and ensure IT service is uninterrupted. Direct and provide day-to-day expertise, coaching and leadership to management and supervisory teams in the areas of information systems design and development, systems planning, programming, operations, architecture, data processing, data security, networks, systems support and analysis. Research and evaluate new technologies, products and techniques to meet future technology needs. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: planning, implementing and monitoring enterprise-level information technology hardware and operating system infrastructures; conducting information systems design and development, systems planning, programming, operations, architecture, data processing, data security, networks, systems support and analysis; designing, implementing, and maintaining day-to-day operation of business-critical application and systems; analyzing, designing, developing, and translating business requirements into technical requirements; developing and fixing RTNs and DRs; utilizing Linux Windows, Virtual Machines, Oracle, MySQL, Storage, LDAP, and Middleware components; utilizing Splunk, Keynote to support and monitor business critical applications; and managing large enterprise applications.
