In this role, you will:
- Deliver an outstanding atmosphere and culture for both our customers and employees.
- Oversee daily retail store operations including: scheduling, budgeting, driving retail sales performance, and ensuring adherence to all operational and organizational standards.
- Implement marketing, sales, service, and financial strategy direction provided by corporate retail partners.
- Engage with senior leadership by bringing your expertise and ideas forward to your field leadership team to ensure we maximize store opportunities.
- Provide positive leadership, mentoring, and coaching to all employees to create a high performing team.
- Continually train and develop sales team on new products and sales strategies.
- Recruit, hire, and train new associates.
- Regularly review key performance metrics with staff to ensure the store is meeting financial goals.
Qualifications:
- High School degree or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
- Great leadership skills.
- Retail store experience with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven ability to drive a positive culture and motive a team to meet or exceed performance standards.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience in attracting, developing and retaining strong talent.
- Self-motivated, excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to move a minimum of 25 pounds. Ability to effectively maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom; repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, ascending/descending, reaching, and lifting to stock and merchandise store. Ability to work with/around cleaning chemicals.
- Must be willing to work opening/closing shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
