This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As an Operations Accountant for John Deere Harvester Works and the Seeding Group located in East Moline, Illinois, you will:
Analyze and forecast material variance and factory raw inventory- Conduct detailed reviews of rep machine cost and support the standard cost process
- Support the investment planning and capital spend activities through detailed tracking and analysis
- Perform payroll activities for Monosem USA and provide backup support to Thibodaux, LA factory
- Complete ad hoc financial analyses to support factory and product profitability

What Skills You Need
Two or more years of experience in an accounting, finance, and/or audit role- Strong communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and financial modeling
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with SAP- Experience working with Power BI and related applications
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and objectives timely
- Proven process improvement capability
- Proven adaptability
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
