Automotive New Vehicle Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive New Vehicle Sales Manager to join our team at Johnson Brothers Ford Lincoln in Temple, Texas. This is a full-time, commission-only sales position for someone with a passion for the auto industry and a proven track record in sales and management. As the New Vehicle Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our new vehicle sales department, achieving sales goals, growing sales volume and leading a team of salespeople to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of the new vehicle sales department, including setting sales targets, monitoring inventory levels, and coaching and mentoring sales staff.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, both new and existing, in order to achieve and exceed monthly sales goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to develop sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Hire, train and motivate sales team to ensure they are delivering exceptional customer service and meeting their sales targets.
- Oversee the negotiation and processing of sales contracts and financing options for customers.
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales and/or management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading a successful sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and current market trends.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
