What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Marketing Leader position at Johnson & Johnson?
The Global Marketing Leader is responsible for the development, maintenance, adaptations of global marketing strategies to drive growth within a specific therapy focus (Protected Revascularization, Advanced HF, AMI CS, or Emerging Therapies). In partnership with Regional Marketing Leads, Sales Leadership, Product Management, Market Intelligence, and Medical Office, this person will constantly collect and analyze market insights at a regional and global level to inform commercial strategies. This person will possess a deep understanding of evolving customer needs, ensure commercial strategies align with product and evidence roadmaps, and create marketing strategies that will be used by Regional Marketing teams to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shaping the innovation and pipeline strategy for our Impella & Breethe products in collaboration with cross-functional partners
- Developing global insights to drive new product concepts, market segmentation, KOL engagement and marketing strategies.
- Managing the New Product Innovation pipeline, including meeting key development milestones
- Working closely with the regional marketing teams to execute marketing and launch plans
- Partnering closely with the regions to understand market dynamics and support the regional commercial needs
- Creating relationships with worldwide key opinion leaders
- Building a pipeline of talent and fostering a culture of engagement within the team.
- Develop, execute, and maintain high-impact marketing programs that are “exported” globally to Regional Marketing colleagues.
- Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and General Managers to bring novel therapies and/or expanded indications to clinicians and patients around the world.
- Work with the Medical Office and Publications teams to ensure the latest evidence and clinical best practices are shared globally.
- Identify key adoption barriers to product adoption and develop the tools, programs, and training needed to overcome those barriers.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of current publications, emerging science, technological developments and trends on relevant therapies and competitive products.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. MBA is preferred
- A minimum of 15 years of marketing experience with solid business acumen and knowledge of the medical device market environment is required.
- Prior people leadership experience required, managing of managers preferred.
- Proven leadership ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams across a matrix organization is required
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are essential.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Consistently pushes self and others to achieve challenging goals and objectives with a track record of success based on integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to convert strategies into tactical marketing plans and deliver results.
- Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders through the utilization of organizational channels, experience, and influencing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales and marketing leadership.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, and multi-functional partners.
