Summary
The Customer Experience team at Johnson Nursery is looking for a bright individual that likes to help people and who has a natural attention to detail. The qualified candidate will be comfortable in an office setting. Familiarity with MS Excel and knowledge of ‘vlookup’ and ‘sumifs’ Excel functions would be beneficial. We are a people-focused team that have a cheerful camaraderie.

Minimum Qualifications
- Microsoft Excel and computer experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.

- Must be organized and able to multi-task effectively.
- Must be willing to work extra hours if needed

Essential Functions
- Help sales team with customer development and customer relations
- Answer incoming calls and follow prescribed customer service standards
- Enter sales orders for the Account Executives with extremely accurate attention to detail
- Contact customers for substitutions and other details associated with order entry
- Make customer calls as requested by an Account Executive and/or Business Development teams
- This position will not have any customers of their own but will team up with an Account Executive to ensure every required customer call and follow-up is made
- Assist the marketing department with specific duties such as emails, pictures, social media, availability, and others as needed.
- Must have effective communication skills and be able to interact well with the marketing team, Account Executives, and company management
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Other duties as assigned

- Able to sit and work at a desk.

- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This is primarily a sedentary role although driving to the customer's locations is required. Talking and hearing are also necessary. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop or kneel while in the nursery fields. The employee must be able to occasionally lift 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel
Travel may be required throughout the year to the following: Trade Shows, Customer Visits, Industry Events, Brand Events, and more.
