The outside moving consultant is given company generated leads based on territory and is responsible for self-generating new business using a variety of methods. >100K commission potential for the right candidate! Qualifications include: 1 year or more moving company sales experience preferred but not required. High energy professional, who is proactive, self-motivated and organized. Must be motivated to succeed in a competitive environment. Having a solid work ethic is essential. As an outside moving consultant, candidate must work effectively with operations, move coordinators and upper-level management. Must demonstrate the ability to convert leads into booked clients. Moving is very stressful for our customers, our candidate must have compassion and patience to assist in giving them the best possible experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares detailed moving estimates for customers moving locally or long distance
  • Prospects
  • Networks
  • Establishes and sustains relationships with customers to create opportunities for future and repeat business.
  • Achieve quarterly performance objectives and goals.
  • Finalizes sales paperwork in a precise and timely manner.
  • Documents all estimates with any special instructions or notes pertaining to the needs of the customer.
  • Communicates all customer expectations to move coordinator and operations team.
  • Performs follow-ups on pending estimates and maintains information in "Quotes To Go" and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Maintains direct contact with customers to answer questions and resolve issues before, during and after the move.
  • Conscientiously maintains and manages a vigorous calendar of appointments.
  • Regularly monitors email, text messages and voice mail for customer and company communication.
  • Attends all sales meetings, conferences and training seminars as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
