Jones Ford Auto group is looking for an Automotive Office Manager, or someone who has experience with being an Automotive Office Manager. Jones Auto Group has grown and we are a family owned dealership , and have a tight knit office.
The ideal candidate will need to have automotive office manager experience… The Office Manager must have experience and an understanding of Dealership accounting principles. This role could vary, to include:managing/over looking. and reviewing financials, schedules, inventories, bank statements,and payroll. This is a 6 store dealer group, all stores located within an hour of Metro Phoenix. Ford/Stellantis/GM franchises.
Immediate Opening and hiring now, Office Manager who is able to train dealership personnel on CDK usage, oversee and assist in managing various offices. Willing to assist and train employees. The asst Controller must have great people skills, the aptitude and capability of relaying training on process and procedure,and detailed oriented. This role would be to assist the lead comptroller as she is unable to be in all dealerships all the time.
They must be CDK savvy! They also must be Dealer Experienced.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with hiring/recruiting Admin/Accounting Staff
- Train and Supervise Administrative/Accounting Staff
- Verify/Audit Payroll Register prior to issuance of Payroll Checks prior to Controller approval
- Review of Accounting General Ledger and Accounting Schedules – weekly – Fridays
- Assist with preparation of monthly sales tax return. Pay and submit, timely, monthly return. Audit return for compliance. Verify proper exemption documents support tax exemptions (Sales, Service & Parts)
- New/Used/Other Vehicle Physical Inventory performed and reconciled once a month
- All monthly reconciliations are complete & accurate
- All non-scheduled accounts are reconciled and accounted accurately on a monthly basis, and daily reconciliations such as Bank & P-Card accounts are accurate and timely
- Monitor/Manage/Complete Month End Processes
Requirements:
- Must have strong CDK DMS experience
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment with the ability to lead and influence others
- Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task
- Experience in building and working with strong teams
- Must be open to travel
- Consistent and stable work history
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Professional appearance and work ethic
