A treatment facility for adults struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage and grow a small business development team. The ideal candidate will be highly-motivated with a record of business development success in the behavioral healthcare industry as a manager or long-time representative. This opportunity requires a coachable, hungry sales professional that's eager to grow with an organization and lead a small, outside sales department.

Candidates will have:
5 years behavioral healthcare business development experience
2 years behavioral healthcare business development leadership preferred
An outgoing personality with the willingness to invest in coaching and growing team members
Leadership skills that include identifying new talent, training new hires and existing team members, managing team activities and production daily, providing sales leadership and coaching, and providing hands-on coaching
Ability to establish relationships and be comfortable speaking with potential referral sources from the healthcare/medical field, court system, local business and many other potential types of community partners
Ability to develop, design, implement and follow through with action plans to grow admissions and the overall brand of the treatment center
Ability to exercise professionalism in a manner that reflects a positive image for the organization, as well as the individual candidate, by exhibiting ethics, attention to detail, availability, dependability and a heart of service for those in need of recovery from addiction
Principal Responsibilities:
Work with leadership team and be coached on developing and implementing a strategic plan for creating new business relationships within the business development department
Coach team on best ways to actively prospect, cold call (on the phone and face-to-face) continuously to expand individual's and company's contact list and brand awareness
Provide excellent follow-up with team members, leadership team, and existing referral relationships
